HDFC Bank Credit IVR Scam still active



IVR Scam is a new tread today where scammers dupe people very easily through phone banking. Banks are not aware neither nor take any action against it. I am providing you some link that will guide you more in case you are receiving fraud calls. One of the biggest loop hole is that, the scammer's have data about your Credit Card. This information is only with the Bank and is not leaked anywhere. If you are doing a lot of online shopping, then they can also be held responsible. But reputed online shopping site take special care when you use your cards on the web. A old scam of Divine Technologies is still active. This time scammers are calling with different company name and offers.

One step Banks like HDFC can take is ban companies who is using this accounts and phone IVR. The best thing about this scammers is that they are well versed how to use OTP generation system to doop people. On the other hand, people who are using banks service never knows that this kind of service are really provided. Bank do handle bunch of manuals to consumers, but they never inform about  such scams.
